June 27th was a bittersweet day as family, friends, and fellow gardeners gathered to celebrate the life of Hardy Garden Club member, Sally Bauer, who died of an aneurism earlier this spring.
The celebration of life was so well attended that the church was filled to capacity while scores of others huddled under a tent set up nearby. Hardy Garden Club was honored to be asked by Sally's family to create the flower arrangements for the altar and many thanks go out to all the members who participated and made our club proud.
Sally will be dearly missed, but her spirit and joie de vivre will certainly live on.
